Why Should I Attend Immerse Global Summit on Madeira Island?
We have been getting a lot of questions on why people should choose to attend the Immerse Global Summit on Madeira Island, instead of other events happening in Europe around the same time. So, we compiled a list of compelling reasons, and answers to common questions, that we think will pique your interest and get you to join us on the most beautiful island in the world.
1) Madeira Island is the most beautiful island in the world (😉) - it is a magical place with incredible landscapes, flowers for miles, the kindest, most welcoming people ever, delicious food, great innovations, cool venues and thrives on sustainability. If you are looking for an event in a conference centre, this isn’t for you.
2) How on earth do I get there?
Flights to Madeira Island are not as difficult as you think! There are flights daily from major European destinations and airlines include TAP Air Portugal, Vueling, RyanAir, Azores airlines etc. From the USA there are flights from New York, or go via Lisbon and stop for a night to enjoy that awesome city as well. The airport on the island is 20 mins from our location and there are lots of cabs and transportation options. Don’t forget to rub the Christiano Ronaldo statue at the airport for good luck!
3) What makes your event different from others?
One word - connections. Our event is formatted so that you and the other attendees get to really connect and spend time together. With talks, speed networking sessions, roundtables, transportation, special events, curated gatherings, you are certain to get to know the other attendees on a level you won’t experience at other events. Our event also is curated to attract you clients and customers and connections. We want you to be inspired, evangelize like a boss and GET DEALS DONE. We have invited an awesome group of individuals to be on the island.
4) Tell me about the Immerse Experienced Expo!
We have 4 days of awesome planned for our attendees + the general public. The first two days are open to our IGS attendees - private demos and showings, B2B meetings, pitchfest, demo stage, media tours and more. Then, we will open the doors to the public and have guests inside to play, demo, learn, do workshops, innovate and get inspired. If you are a potential exhibitor looking to get in front of clients + consumers, let’s talk!
5) Your show used to be all about VR & AR and enterprise… has this changed?
As the industry has grown, we are growing with it - but we haven’t forgotten our roots. As the VR/AR Association has a global membership of people working in the immersive tech space, we have expanded our tracks and talks to include new technologies that are related to our industry - blockchain, web3, digital fashion, NFTs and more. We are still focused on the VR and AR industries, but also their role in this ever-expanding landscape. The Immerse Global Summit allows us the freedom to explore new topics and the synergies in industries. Or tracks and topics will include Enterprise, Automotive, Medical, Education, Immersive Entertainment, Training and Remote Work, Hardware, Software, Aerospace and Defense, Digital Fashion, Web3, Women in Tech, Diversity and Inclusion, Real Estate, StartUp and Investment and more.
6) I am a StartUp - How Can I Get Involved?
We are excited to have many options for start ups. We have virtual and live booths available for start ups at different and affordable price points. We are also VERY excited to be hosting a StartUp Pitchfest and program at the event. We have invited global VCs to judge and participate in this program, which is available online and in person. More information is available HERE.
7) What if I can’t attend in person? What are my options?
We have got you covered! Our event is fully hybrid so you can join us online and won’t miss out! Virtual attendee tickets will go on sale on August 1st and will have access to networking, virtual booths, live streamed talks and special online sessions and workshops. If COVID becomes a factor again, we are 100% prepared to be fully virtual - no problem!
Early bird tickets end July 31st. Contact us for information on attending, speaking and sponsorship - we would LOVE to have you join us on Madeira Island!
